Hermes Rx – Receiver

The Hermes RX Receiver is a software defined radio (SDR) portable receiver that operates in tandem with ATEC Wireless’ iMeasure data collection and mapping software. The Hermex Rx receives and decodes the following LMR Protocols:

  • Analog FM
  • P25 Phase 1
  • P25 Phase 2
  • DMR

iMeasure – Mapping Software

The ATEC iMeasure software operates on an Android tablet and collects the LMR data from the Hermes Rx receiver to produce high quality indoor / outdoor coverage maps. Additionally, WiFi mapping can be achieved using the WiFi card on the tablet and connecting to SSID network to be measured. LTE / 4G and 5G signals can also be mapped by pairing cell phone devices operating on the carriers (e.g. AT&T, Verizon, etc.) that the user wants to map for signal coverage. Lastly, iMeasure allows users import maps, take pictures of maps, select Critical Coverage areas, and produce high quality reports for JHA review.

Icom RDT – Radio Discovery Tool

RDT displays recorded information from the Icom F7000 P25 Radios. Using RDT, network administrators can view the following:

  • P25 Network Coverage
  • GPS Location / Breadcrumbs
  • Recorded Tx and Rx Audio
  • Radio Parameters, like Volume Setting, Channel Setting, etc.
